Williamson County’s July 2024 Home Stats

July’s housing market showed:

⬇️ 3% decrease in properties sold (426 in June)

📈 2.1% increase in active listings (1,038 in June)

💲44,959: Median home sales price decreased by $44,959. ($969,950 in June) 

⬆️ 6 days: Homes spent 6 days longer on the market in July than in June. The average home sold in 28 days in July (22 in June).

✨ WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU ✨

In July we continued to see more homes come on the market than in the previous month. 

We saw less homes sell this past month, but only slightly (413 sold in July vs. 426 in June). 

Statistics also show that the median sales price for homes in Williamson County decreased by $44k. 

For sellers: More homes are continuing to come on the market, which is increasing competition. Buyers are taking more time to purchase a home, with homes sitting (on average) 6 days longer than we saw in June. 

For buyers: More homes on the market to choose from, more time to purchase a home and lower priced homes than previous months.
