This past month, we have continued to see the marketing picking up in the greater Nashville area. In June, we saw an uptick in housing inventory and sales prices, with homes continuing to spend fewer days on the market!
Williamson County Market Update
The numbers are in! Above shows how the Williamson County housing market performed in May. To understand what this means, we’ve broken down a comparison to how the market performed in April.
IN MAY WE SAW:
20% increase in properties sold! (351 in April)
7% increase in active listing! (921 in April)
$61k: Median home sales price increased by $61k ($988,840 in April)
5 days: Homes spent 5 days less on the market in May (30 in April)
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU
With more homes available, homes are selling faster and for more money. We are also seeing offers being accepted more quickly. This is working in favor of both the buyers and the seller because buyers have the luxury of more inventory and sellers are getting more money for their homes.
