Williamson County Market Update
The numbers are in! June 2024 Williamson County’s stats are in! Check out the housing market stats below and how it compared to May.
IN JUNE WE SAW:
0.7% increase in properties sold (423 in May)
4% increase in active listings (994 in May)
80k: Median home sales price decreased by $80k ($1,050,000 in May)
3 days: homes spent 3 days less on the market in May. The average home sold in 22 days in June (25 in May)
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU
In June, we continued to see more homes available and more homes sold when compared to May. However, in April and May we saw an average of ~7% increase month over month vs. in June there was a .7% increase. This shows that homes are selling only slightly more than they did in May. The good news for sellers is that homes continue to sell faster, with an average of 22 days on the market.
For sellers: More homes are continuing to sell and are getting sold more quickly.
For buyers: More homes on the market to choose from and the median price of homes has gone down by $80k!
